Today, with the help of friends, I am moving ERCO 93888 from Mack Mesa airport to Blake Field in Delta, CO -- a distance of about 40 miles. My hope was to fly it down, but my annual has turned into a minor restoration. I thought this might be of interest to the group given the recent discussion of trailering Ercoupes. Also, I could use some good vibes from the group to make sure everything goes smoothly.
After some research, I located a trailer which rents for $75 and is 8.5 feet wide and 18 feet long. We're hoping to not have to extend the width with lumber. We will take the fuselage on the first trip and the wings on the second. I plan to take pictures and could post them if anyone is interested. Thanks, in advance, for your support. Bill Liggett
