[ercoupe-tech] Removing Side Panels for Annual [1 Attachment]

I have not annualed mine yet, but my point is, what are you going to see by 
removing them that you cannot see as well by looking down the window opening.  
As one can see in the photo of the panel removed, that shiny square of outside 
skin is all that is covered up by the panel, which is only there to protect the 
window and support the upholstery.  What am I missing here?  I am old and slow, 
but a half hour to remove seats and side panels is beyond my skill level I 
think.
