Does it feel like a periodic "THUMP"? Try switching magnetos to isolate it. It may be a bad mag. I had the same symptoms and I found carbon arcing along the distributor cap inside the right mag that was causing me to lose spark and the spark to jump to different cylinders at the wrong time.
