#3372 in a long line of siblings.

Successful flight on July 3, 2010 after 6+ years with the previous owner and
2+ with my Visa card.

It should be noted sadly, that two 415's gave their all so that 47H could
rise again from obscurity, after many years of not even being deemed
valuable enough to store in the corner of someone's hanger.

Aircraft & pilot resting comfortably: Airplane safely in her hanger, pilot
by the pool with a beer in his hand & a grin on his face.

A few days before the restoration was completed, my A&P were finishing up
some details (him mostly working, me mostly watching), when two guys
wandering around the airport came into the hanger. "A 'C' model?", the first
one asked. "Yep", I reply. "So, LSA?" he asks. "Yep", I say. "How much you
take for her?", his buddy asks. "Not for sale", is my answer. "Everything
has a price", the first one says, "I'll give you $50,000 cash right now!",
reaching for his wallet. "Nice", I say, "When you bring back the rest, you
can have the plane". True story.

I have a stack of receipts from: John Cooper, Mike Jenkins, Mark Wiggs,
Vernon Gregory & places like Aircraft Goose, Sarasota Avionics and Chief
Aircraft to attest to the fact that $50k just wouldn't cover it. A project
like this could not be done without the assistance of qualified mechanics &
Ercoupe knowledgeable people, both in person & on this tech list. A special
thanks to: Martin Gomez, Fred Salvatori, Jan Zanutto, Paul Anton & Hartmut
Beil; he, who 11 time zones from me always has my answer waiting in the
morning. I'm sure I forgot some folks..too many long hot days in the hanger.

Happy 4th of July,

Rick Eason
