I don't know what her thoughts were about driving, but for those who are 
not into flying most presume flying is a dangerous sport and the consequences 
are or could be more catastrophic.
I was told he had a stroke in his cars parking lot on the way to his office 
five month
 after he sold the plane. He died about one week later at the hospital, he 
was 55 years old.
