I've put about 6 hours on my newly refurbished Ercoupe. This is the first time
it's flown in several years. It ran well every day for a week.

In my last takeoff I seemed to lose power and had limited ability to climb. I
returned to the airport and I've been unable to start my engine since.
Yesterday we checked the wiring harness with some kind of Mega-Meter - the
wires checked ok. Today we placed the lower spark plugs on the exhaust
manifold and turned the prop with p-leads removed. Only one coupler clicking
could be heard most of the time and there were no plugs with spark.
Occasionally (one out of 8 to 10 turns), the second coupler would click and a
spark could be seen at one of the plugs. The conclusion of the folks in
attendance is that both of the mags need servicing.

The mags I have are Eisemann LA-4. Any thoughts on where or how I should have
them serviced? One person suggested replacing them with Slick Mags. Any
thoughts on that idea?

I'll appreciate any help.
