Hi Rafał,

I imagined that it may spawn processes but I didn't saw the respective imports
in the files I looked at. Surely I may missed something there, I search again.

So, in general, I do not have any problems with Eric/Pyqt on my system. Yes,
there are bugs that especially shown on the Windows platform but Detlev fixes
them asap.

I am using Python 2.5.2 and the latest of PyQt (4.3.3 I think).
If I were you, I would delete ALL eric files from hard disk (both from where
Eric4.py is and from the users' directory) and the respective entry in the
registry. Then I install it again. That way, has served me in the past when on
a Windows XP system something went like the way you tell me.

Anthony

------------------------------------
I am not a eric4/qt specialist - but for me it looks that eric4 spawns new
processes (which can be placed by kernel in other cpu/core).

Anyway - I read that you are using Vista + Eric4.

Is this combination works ok for you?

Which python/QT are you using?

I've problem with Eric4 that after run it - it sometimes run, sometimes not).

Regards,
