I have found the problem, i have to change the "menu font" setting in the kde 4
control center, i not use usually kde programs so i have changed ever my qt
settings with qtconfig but it seems that kde programs prefer the settings in kde
control center.

No. The size of the fonts of the HMI was never set by eric4. The only
fonts that can be changed are the fonts for the lexers used by
QScintilla (the editors, the shell and the terminal). I have no clue
on what has happened on your system.
