Werner, As Eric 5 is biased towards Python 3 programming, (according to the Eric website advice on which version of Eric to download), and the wxPython bindings for Python 3 are "some way off" it is not to surprising that there isn't a readily available API for wx under Eric 5. Personally I wouldn't try developing wx applications under Eric 5 as I suspect you would run into a lot of problems with "wrong python version" and unported libraries. For creating API files Eric 4 has eric4-api.py for creating them which has its own help. It looks like the process would be to get the source code, parse it through the eric4-api script, load it and compile it.
