Hallo Hans-Peter,
I tried it on my openSUSE 12.2 system in a bash shell and it works for me.
Entering "eric4 eric4.e4p &" in a konsole window doesn't show any issues.
However, I have to admit, that I am not using the standard openSUSE Qt (mine
is Qt 4.8.3) and I am using self compiled QScintila, sip and PyQt4.
Regards,
Detlev
