Hello Gustavo,

there are two options to adjust this behavior.

1. "Highlight file of current editor"This option lets the highlighted entry of 
the project viewer follow 
the file of the current editor. If it is in a package (sub-directory) the top 
level directories are 
expanded.

2. "Follow cursor line of current editor"This allows the highlight to follow 
the editor cursor and 
highlights the method/class ... the cursor is in. This causes all higher level 
structures to be 
expanded.

Both option may be found on the Project Viewer page of the configuration dialog.

I hope, this solves your issue.
