Hello Romina,

In preferences you'll have to configure the path to the Python 2 interpreter. Then you can switch the shell to Python 2 with right click and select start-> Python 2.
But if you start a Script or project, there some other settings. On the lower status line you'll find an icon for the file language. You can change it with a left click and select Python 2. To assign *.py files to Python 2, you'll have to adjust the settings in the Debugger preferences. There should only one assignment ‎to a File ending in Python 2 and 3.

Betreff: [Eric] modify Python version in debug shell

Hi to everybody,

I have been trying for several days to change the Python version in the debugger but I get that always runs with Python 3 rather than python2 as I want . I've searched everywhere in the Preferences settings , but nothing has changed...Anyone knows how to do it?

Thanks
