--- Comment #1 from John Eckersberg <[email protected]> ---
Can you attach the core dump? Merely starting epmd on a host with no IPv6
addresses doesn't seem to be enough to trigger the bug, I'm unable to
reproduce:

[root@centos7 ~]# rpm -q erlang-erts
erlang-erts-R16B-03.13.el7.x86_64
[root@centos7 ~]# ip a
1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN
    link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
    inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UP
qlen 1000
    link/ether 52:54:00:87:2d:f5 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.122.147/24 brd 192.168.122.255 scope global dynamic eth0
       valid_lft 2850sec preferred_lft 2850sec
[root@centos7 ~]# epmd -debug
epmd: Mon Feb 22 14:27:20 2016: epmd running - daemon = 0

(no crash for me)
