What do you exactly mean by building it from the update project? I've
looked inside that project and I've seen a script called pack.sh which
seems to package some stuff up. Is that the script to execute or is
there some functionality within Eclipse to create the plugin?

I'm not entirely sure about the versioning of the overall erlang
distribution because I'm using the fink distribution on OS X which
seems to call the package 10b-10-1, so I will investigate whether I
can get the latest source from erlang.org and build it from that.
