I think we're mis-communicating here...The bootstrapper is designed to use whatever version of erlc is on the path -- so if you have 5.6.2 on the path, that's what will get built and bundled. Put another way, the bootstrapper is erlang version-agnostic. The problem is that the epkg/faxien script assumes a specific version is being used to build, hence the problem. If you want a faxien built with 5.6.3, just make sure that's the version on your path when you run the bootstrapper and all will be good.
