Yes, it's correct. But I avoided the first step, compiling OTP r12b-3, I
installed a binary package for my dist (Ubuntu 8.10) instead. The
following Ubuntu/Debian packages are needed for a complete ssl tree:
erlang-src, erlang-nox, erlang-dev and erlang-examples
