I can answer that - yeah, there has been progress. Eric has been teed up to push a new release out for a few days. I have held him up with one more feature request that is killing a number of people which is that when you upgrade sinan it does not kill the old running server and so you get odd errors or simply end up using the old version when you think you are using the new. So as soon as that is done the new will be pushed out.
For all those that have problems I recommend simply running faxien ia sinan 0.11.0.0 to install the past version and just run with that for now. The new one will be out shortly enough.
