Title: ECW Java SDK

Hello Giacomo,

The SDK caches image data internally, and by default this cache is *not* cleared when the file is closed - you specifically have to pass TRUE to the Close() call.  This is most likely what you are seeing - if not, could you please provide a complete working sample with source code for investigation.

Regards,

Subject: ECW Java SDK

We try to use ECW Java SDK v. 2.3, in a JSP application for rendering Images on the web.
We have noticed that the library will allocate memory that don't disallocate.
For example, doing continuous request from the browser, the server memory will increase
as far as it go to "out of memory error".  We found the the library don't disallocate memory. It seems
that the library was designed only for use "one time" or "one step", and not for multiple loading/unloading
of ECW files.
Thanks for any help.
