Draping Vectors on 3D alg

Hi List   When I overlay vectors on a 3D algorithm and I increase the memory used (ie the detail displayed)(I'm draping a high res aerial photo on a DTM and using 1Gb of memory to do this), the vectors extend upwards (they are stretched vertically) and this makes the otherwise impressive view look silly. I have tried to decrease the size of vectors but this has not helped.
