Over the last year, I recall dozens of:
"if you are running Windows 'whatever' you need to stick 'bla-bla' in your 'something' file or you'll get several blue screens a day"
type of messages posted on the list which I mostly ignored since we were running ERMapper 5.5 on workstations. However, we are now getting ready to migrate to PC's and ERM version 6.2 and are looking for some advice to avoid pitfalls and maximize output. We are analyzing some pretty large LIDAR datasets (10 gig +) and wondering if anyone might have suggestions as far as CPU, Grafix Card, RAM limits, Operating System etc...go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
