Dear List, Does anyone know how to stop a VDS containing a number of unsigned 8 bit integer datasets from defaulting to IEEE 8 byte real? This phenomenon manifests itself when I run stats on the vds (the min and max values have become real numbers), and when I try to save the vds as a full data set (forces me to change back to UINT 8 before saving every file).
