Dear Jose Luis I've experienced the same problem especially contouring dem
as virtual dataset: the contour lines (.erv) are very sharp and extremely
generalized and the whole vector plot is shifted southward and eastward with
respect the raster dem. I think the larger is the file the wronger is the
result.Probably this is a bug never fixed by the develope team.
If you have any fixes or suggestion, please report

Hi,
Ive sent a mail before asking about fix problems for contouring, and send
again the same question.

I get problems to generate contours from a DTM, my DTM was generating from
diverse sources, one of them is from control point of terrain of GPS survey,
and Ive generated DTM with Ermapper 6.2 and update 6.21 version.
I would like obtain contours from my DTM generate from this CPT whit
Contouring wizard tools. The problem is, when I want to see results obtained
from this routines in the main windows display I can see them well, but at
the time than I want to transform them to vector file, the contours are
deformed, Its occurs too at the time that I want resize my windows display.
Does someone has fixed it?

And other thing, I would like save an image create in 3D in Ermapper, I can
create this one with view mode, but I can save them, when I want to save
this algorithm the resultant image is saved in 2D, this problem is the same
when I want to do, in the adding of new surfaces, the files resulted are in
2D
I try to save directly from save image to clipboard option, and save as
compresses images whit windows option, and image results is in 2D.

How can I obtain directly from Ermapper a image in 3D?

Other question, how can I get information about histogram like number of
cell whit same attribute (slope, classification) in different files like
txt, dat, cav, format? , I would like obtaining information for representing
those dates in other programs for made graphs.

I appreciate your help.
Thakns.

Subject: ArcIMS Integration
Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To ER Mapper List,
Since the release of Image Web Server 1.6 there has been increased interest
for using the abilities of 1.6 to integrate with GIS servers. Earth
Resource Mapping has made this integration easier by developing an
application that modifies existing ArcIMS web pages that were created with
ArcIMS developer 3.1 with an ECW control to allow imagery to be served from
an Image Web Server. This integration adds the ability to serve
terabyte-sized imagery in a matter of seconds. In addition to speed, you
also get the use of Active Zoom for real-time zooming and panning. You will
no longer have to wait to receive an image as the image progressively
updates while you wait. Just think about what you can do with the powerful
vector tools of ArcIMS and the blazing speed and real-time imagery of Image
Web Server. Earth Resource Mapping is now beta testing our new integration
application. To get a beta copy and supply feedback, email Eric Flourie at

troubleshooting and technical support.

Requirements:
Windows 95/98/NT/2000
32MB RAM (64 Recommended)
4 Megabytes of disk storage
Web site created with ArcIMS 3.1 developer. Heavily edited pages may
prevent the use of this application.
This is a beta application and Earth Resource Mapping does not offer any
technical support for this application.
Earth Resource Mapping takes no responsibility for the use of this beta
application.
