Hi Adam, Especially if you are going to create a mosic out of the 100 images we strongly recommend you to consider OrthoWarp ER. First of all it rectifies all the different resolutions of Landsat 7 with one set of measurements only.
Second, you will most likely have less trouble with the geometric quality in the mosaicing process if you have taken the terrain displacement into account by performing an orthorectification in stead of some other rectification. Third, the due to the rigorous rectification approach used in OrthoWarp ER you will most likely be able to use less ground control points than with other methods for comparable results. And finally, because all the information in the hdf header files are used, you will most likely need less time per measurement. So if you are interested in saving time and achieving good results, we recommend you to have a look at OrthoWarp ER. OrthoWarp ER version 2.0.4 is coming out in about a week from now. It has some improvements regarding the handling of Landsat 5, 7, Spot & Ikonos imagery, among other things. So in a few days you might want to download the evaluation version 2.0.4 of OrthoWarp ER from the ER Mapper download page or directly from http://www.xposition.fi/pub/owarp. Hi all, I have over 100 Landsat 7 images in HDF format, and I'm looking for the most efficient way to import them into ER Mapper. I'm eventually going to have to geocode all of them images so I need to create 3 ERS files for each image (15m, 30m and 60m). Is there a batch script out there that will do this, or should I be looking at modifying an existing script to get this job done? ------------------------------------------------ Adam Inglis Remote Sensing Specialist Spatial Mapping Ltd. 1655 Knight Ave. Victoria, BC V8P 1L4 Phone: (250) 519-0294 [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.spatialmapping.com Inpho Technology Oy Jukka Hakala Tekniikantie 12 02150 ESPOO, Finland phone + 358- 9- 5840 0466 fax + 358- 9- 5840 0469 GSM + 358- 40- 5528 088 Member of Inpho Group, www.inpho.de Member of GeoToolBox Team, www.geotoolbox.com "Fennis mira feritas, foeda paupertas !"
