I've got some earthquake data from Pakistan that I would like to post by creating a .erv file using awk (there are over 2000 earthquakes to "spot"). The only problem I'm having is that the earthquake data are in Lat Lon and the .erv data file appears to be in map-units...easting northing I assume. The original image is from an MSS mosaic PRINT that was scanned and then geocoded manually via intersection cross-hairs on the image. The data were originally projected in Lambert conformal conic projection with a standard parallels of 26 deg. and 34 deg. N. with an Everest Spheroid at 1:2,000,000 scale. I used USEV67 LM1PAK1 as my geodetic datum and projection (is that correct?). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
