Hi Mustak, This is a known problem with the ERDAS Imagine import. There is a simple workaround:
1. Download the ERDAS ViewFinder from: http://www2.erdas.com/supportsite/downloads/downloads.html 2. Open your *.img file in the ERDAS ViewFinder. 3. Save your *.img file as a either a new *.img file, or GeoTIFF(ERDAS ViewFinder only supports saving to *.img or *.tif). You should then be able to import the new *.img file or open the new GeoTIFF file in ER Mapper directly.
