G'day Ken,

This should do it:
1) When you install Microsoft VC++, it creates a file called "vcvars32.bat"
in the directory DevStudio/VC/bin (or similar). Copy this file to "C:\"
2) Edit the file "C:\autoexec.bat" and after the LAST LINE, add the
following command

                C:\vcvars32.bat

3) Restart your computer
4) Start ER Mapper, then choose the menu option
            Utilities -> Machine Configuration Report
The wizard will tell you whether ER Mapper can recognize the C compiler.

Subject: Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 & the PATH environment variable

G'day All

I have just installed Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 on my computer. How do I go
about making sure that its bin directory is included in my PATH environment
variable so that I can use ERMapper to compile a .ddl filter.

Cheers
Ken Hickey
