Hi, Have a look in the applications manuel (part 1 - second chapter). There is some info in there. Also look in ermapper/examples/data_types/digital_elevation for some example algorithms. There are already quite a few filters/kernels and formulae shipped with ER Mapper. Look in filters_DEM directory from the filter dialog.
You should be able to do what you need to with what is already shipped with ER Mapper.
