Problems with JERS1 VNIR imagery

Hi
I have problem importing JERS VNIR imagery on ER Mapper. When I try to import, I have this error message :

"The tape header says we have 4000 records but we have reached the end of tape at 1 records @ 1 band ...."

Any help will be grealy appreciated.
