Hi, The overlap is anywhere from 25% to 50% of the pixels depending on the class. However, I have not applied any filters. I planned on cleaning up in the GIS program. But I'm still not quite sure how I can get overlapping areas with the classified data because each is assigned to a specific class with a discrete identifier, with only 1 band. Thanks for your help with this.

How much is "large" overlap? A pixel or two or more? If you are applying median or majority filters to the images before vectorizing, then you should expect some overlap because the original class boundaries have been altered.
