Such email may be a WORM virus!   There is a mass-mailing virus going around right now.  Please go here http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/friendgreetings.html  to download instruction on how to prevent it, or to remove it if you have already got it.  Remember virus like this are getting smarter everyday.
