Hi Neil, At a guess, I'd say you've changed screen resolution at some stage, so that the tips dialog has become smaller, thus the checkbox is out of view in the resized window. Unfortunately this window isn't resizable by the user. So you have two options :
1. use regedit to set the registry value : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Earth Resource Mapping\ER Mapper 6.3\Show tips at startup 6.3 to 0 2. change screen resolution to a higher resolution and uncheck the checkbox. FYI, it is correct behavior for the tips to reappear each release, as new tips have been added.
