In Sutton 7th ed. page 108 you can find a typical diagram of the
variation of drag versus Mach number. For 0� angle of attack Cd is
0.15 up to Ma 0.6 going steeply up from there to a max of 0.42
at Ma 1.2 coming down to 0.25 at Ma 2 and at Ma 5 Cd is back again
at 0.15. At some angle of attack eg. cross wind or steering action,
Cd can go up to much higher values.

PS: As the diagram is from the V-2 missile it should be also present
    in the older versions of Sutton.
