Didn't someone object that vortex mixing would cause torque and
chuffing?  Orbital had a torque problem a few years ago: they had no
roll control on one of their vehicles, never needed it.  But when they
switched to a composite bell (nozzle?  Henry will know), they lost the
bird.  Turns out the composite was spiral wound, and that introduced a
tiny roll torque - enough, over the length of the burn, to overwhelm
the GNC.  Which, because the vehicle had no roll control, the GNC
couldn't fix.  Bye bye birdie...
