So I saw Chicken Run last night. And it got to the scene where
they're making their escape in an airplane built from parts you can
find in an average barnyard. And the wings unfolded, and the chickens
started pedalling, and the prop spun up...
You watch that scene, and you think about mass fractions, and thrust
to weight ratios, and friction losses, and wing loading...not to
mention failure scenarios, handling qualities, and CG management...and
you reach one inescapable conclusion.
You have been with ERPS waaaaaay too long. :-)
