After being stationed in 29 Palms and missing out on Camp Fuji (on the
slopes of Fujiyama), I always wanted to spend a winter in Chicago,
just for the bragging rights. Then I went to Lacrosse in November and
December and got to scrape ice off the rental car every morning and
slide gently down the street with no control over where I was going.
Winter in Chicago rapidly lost its appeal.

But you say there is real weather in Chicago? Hmmm! :-)
