I liked the slo mo video. Is this a device trick or done in editing?
You can do this with any decent editing software like Vegas Video. (http://www.sonicfoundry.com/Products/NewShowProduct.asp?PID=612)
A lot of DV cameras also have in-device slowmo playback like my Sony TRV-900. Makes it easy if you're just dubbing to a VHS or playing back right after a test to see details.
There's really advanced software for getting the most out of field based video for slomo, like Reelsmart deinterlacer for After Effects. (http://www.revisionfx.com/rsfk.htm) I've used this for tests at XCOR to get a real good look at startup and shutdown transients.
