This is definitely offtopic.

But, since it came up, the bottom line is that according to general relativity, the gravity well propogates at the same speed as the gravitating body, but changes goes at the speed of light. So the gravity doesn't have to travel at each instant from the sun to the earth and back again taking 9 minutes each way- it was already in the space that the earth moves into.

Exactly the same thing happens in electrostatics by the way and nothing moves infinitely fast there either.
