Matt,

    I agree with Shadowmem on this; your chemistry teacher knows just 
enough about peroxide to get you both into trouble. Try to find someone 
local who knows more and is willing to advise you. The local model 
rocket group would be a good place to start.

    If you can't find a local club, look to the Web. There's an active club 
over at Houston, and they have a good Web site. You should be able to 
hook up with them via e-mail.

    While you're browsing for that, look for the "Hydrogen Peroxide 
Propulsion Conference". The full set of papers from the first or second 
conference is on the Web. Also, look for the Solvay Interox Web site. It's 
a major peroxide supplier, and has some good information on handling 
the stuff.
