A brief thought on today's disaster...

ERPS has always set itself apart from NASA, believing that NASA has
long taken the wrong approach to space flight, and has long held the
wrong philosophy of how to develop a spacefaring civilization. We
have great admiration for almost every NASA employee, but we have
differentiated ourselves from NASA on a daily basis.

Not today.

On this awful day, we grieve with NASA and the rest of the world over
the loss of Columbia. Shuttle Program Manager Ron Dittemore said this
morning, "It's more than a job. Human spaceflight is a _passion_."
On that, we agree completely.

Ad Astra, Columbia, and Godspeed.

will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to
the Internet, we know this is not true." -- Robert Wilensky, UC Berkeley
