My favorite is in the TPS comparison table where the maintenance
requirements for ceramic tiles are listed as "shoot yourself." It seems
like if you want a maintainable TPS you're best staying in temperature
ranges that felt and ceramic blankets can handle. Does anyone know if
the "single skip" sort of reentry Gerald mentioned would make such a
thing doable?
