I was complaining about the difficulty of building an SPS on the lunar
surface, and Dan suggested these as part of a solution.  I still think
PV is too mass-inefficient for a lunar SPS, but I don't know enough
engineering to do a mass estimate on a sulfur vapor turbine generator
simple enough to assemble telerobotically...

Any way I look at it, space solar power is not a win without launch
costs under $100/lb *and* significant government/foundation (as in,
you'll never see this money again, so plan it that way) funding.  This
annoys me greatly.
