I don't think faxing a letter to HRHs Feinstein and Boxer would
constitute lobbying - or effectiveness, either - but let me rephrase
the question:

Given that SEA is seriously disrupting life for users of solid fuel
rockets, but ERPS uses mostly liquid fuel rockets, do we want to get
involved in fighting SEA? SmartFlight could act separately as a
semi-autonomous division, if we felt it was appropriate, and
SmartFlight will certainly be affected by whatever disruptions SEA
causes.

My own feeling is that this is too short notice for ERPS to act as an
organization, but that ERPS members should act on their own. If
anyone wants to run something by me, write me at both
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED], so that I'll see it
promptly.
