Hi ...

I got email yesterday from SpaceDev that starts out:

=====
SpaceDev is growing with exciting new space projects!

SpaceDev is seeking a few good men & women!

SpaceDev has the following current open positions, and is seeking a
few outstanding, experienced, innovative space engineers:

Project Manager
System Engineer
Electrical / Electronic Engineer
Mechanical / Structures Engineer

We are working on designing and building a "space tug" that will be
compatible with the Space Shuttle and with EELV secondary launch
opportunities. This project combines our leading-edge BD-II microsat
technology (developed for our successful Internet-based CHIPSat
microsat) with clean, safe hybrid propulsion technology. We are also
adding GN&C hardware and software com bined withour existing hybrid
propulsion system plus cold gas for an autonomous payload maneuvering
and transfer capability.

We continue to develop our large hybrid rocket motors for manned
suborbital and for microsat Small Launch Vehicle (SLV) possibilities.

We are working to shrink our miniature BD-II subsystems to
nanosatellite size, and we are designing multiple formation flying
microsats that communicate their real time sensor outputs into a
combined 3-D image then communicate the result to the ground, using
our already developed Internet-based satellite communications package.

These and other space projects provide exciting opportunities for
experienced engineers who want a small company work environment that
encourages team innovation on fast turnaround, leading-edge space
projects. We can make opportunities for recently graduating,
outstanding, high-achiever engineers with energy to burn on exciting
space, "disruptive technology" developments within a small company
that strives to make a difference, and that has an unbroken string of
successes.

SpaceDev is making space happen with the "microcomputer way of
thinking" and if you have the right stuff, you will want to be on our
winning team, here in the beautiful San Diego area!

Please - no headhunters and no calls!

Some of the details are available on their web site. Given that we still
have a few unemployed people I thought I'd post this.
