People have looked at jet pumps for rockets before -- one of the earliest
ARS proceedings has a paper on it, as I recall -- and have generally found
them unpromising.  Too much gas needed, and problems with unstable or
cryogenic propellants.

Which is not to say that the idea is ridiculous, but this does suggest
that detailed investigation and innovative design would be needed -- it's
not such a clear-cut win that just any old design would work well.
