We finally got a firm price quote for the unstabilized 50% peroxide from Air Liquide -- $0.95 / lb. That is with the understanding that we are probably going to be buying quite a lot, but our first delivery is only four drums. I am completely happy with that price for now, but we can probably get it down to half that when we start buying tank car loads directly from the manufacturer.

I would strongly urge anyone working on peroxide concentration to start with unstabilized semiconductor grade. The past several years have clearly shown that making your own rocket grade peroxide with consistancy in usable quantities is not as easy as many people have assumed it to be. Removing a significant aspect of the process is easily worth doubling the price of the feedstock.

Regarding the talk of catalysts in the ERPS update: I am quite confident that the rolled foil catalysts we are using in our mixed monoprop engines will work with 98% peroxide just fine.
