Due to recent events, the board has decided that it would be nice to
have a 'wish list' of things that would, for one reason or another, make
life easier for us. This reflects what we (actually, mostly me, since I
compiled this list) think would be helpful to us in advancing our
current projects. It should be considered a guide for anyone who has
equipment or other supplies they would like to donate for a tax
write-off. This list is designed to be a comprehensive listing of what
we would like to have, so it includes both little things and rather
large things. It also contains some things we go through a lot of, like
welding rod and electrodes. So, without further ado:

Machining stuff
===============

A third and fourth axis board for a Delta Dynapath 10CNC control.

A Z-axis servo pack for a Tree Journeyman 210 milling machine. This is
only really useful if it comes with the control board, because while
appropriate servo packs remain in production, the extra control boards
are no longer in production.

A rotary axis servo pack and table for same. Same caveats apply.

Sharp carbide, cobalt, and HSS milling and lathe cutters. We can handle
Weldon shank mills up to 1.5", lathe cutters up to 1" square shank, R8
shank tooling, and Morse taper shank tooling from 1 to 3.

Indexable mill, drill and lathe tooling. Same mounting caveats as above

Additional quick-change mill holders and collet chucks for the CNC
milling machine. Taper is NMTB #30.

A better lathe, CNC or CNC convertible if possible. Before accepting, it
should be thoroughly inspected by either Dave Masten or Dan Solvin.

High-quality, sharp drill bits for metal. We have chucks up to 1/2";
other mounting arrangements as for milling cutters.

Sheet metal and step drills. Same caveats as for other drill bits.

Setup equipment such as clamps, T-slot nuts and studs, sine bars, and
angle plates. I'd particularly like some edge clamps

A tilting rotary table

A tapping attachment for the CNC mill (NMTB #30 taper).

Dial indicators, including mounts and magnetic bases

Edge and center finders

Micrometers

Vibratory deburring machine.

DA 30 Collets

Cut off saw or cold saw

Bench grinder with stand

Metal Stock
===========

Aluminium from the 2xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx series, in large, usable pieces,
clearly marked with the alloy designation. All shapes, including round,
square, and rectangular tube of various sizes.

3xx SS. Same caveats as above apply.

Inconel or other weldable, machinable high-temperature alloys. Must be
clearly marked.

Unistrut

Machinable ceramics, such as Macor.

Hardware
========

SS Swagelok (or clone) fittings, valves, ferrules, and nuts. Any
quantity (within reason!), any size up to 1" or so. We would especially
like ones in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2".

Unistrut hardware, including slide nuts, angle plates, pipe clamps, etc.

High quality, well-sorted assortments of cap screws, bolts, nuts,
washers, etc.

Welding
=======

A smaller air-cooled TIG torch, compatible with our machine.

Pyrex TIG cups, compatible with the torch we have or bundled with
another torch. If you have some to give, contact me for specs.

Tungsten electrodes for TIG. Must have colored band intact or at least
visible. 1/16" or 3/32", plain or thoriated (green or red band)
preferred.

TIG rods in Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Mild Steel

An electrode grinder.

A MIG machine

A Plasma Cutter

Power Tools
===========

air ratchet

18V cordless drill for the Ranch

Ranch air compressor

1/4" shank burrs and grinding stones
