Hi John, This may be of interest to Mars Society folks. The AIAA San Francisco Section will have a dinner meeting on the X-33, a vehicle which would have tested a lot of new launch and re-entry technologies, on Tuesday, Nov. 22. The speaker is Mike Green, a former NASA project manager who worked on thermal protection systems, and winner of the NASA Exceptional Engineering Achievement Medal in 1996 for outstanding contributions to the Galileo Entry Probe design and verification. Info on the talk, and registration is at: http://www.aiaa-sf.org/dmtg/05-11.html --Rick Kwan, chair, AIAA San Francisco Section [EMAIL PROTECTED] ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) _______________________________________________ ERPS-list mailing list [email protected] http://lists.erps.org/mailman/listinfo/erps-list
