Yes, but we'll also want people to *want* to use a language. Not just use it because eons ago something has been written in them and now there is no way out. JS has to keep pace or it will end up like those languages, some relic from the past that nobody uses if they can possibly avoid it. I don't think the mission brief of JS can be "The best language you hate using but can't avoid using anyway."
