Hi Minder. The CARBON_HOME directory is whatever you unpack the zip file with the installation of the WSO2 tool you use. You need to put the JAVA_HOME too.
You can define a data service in DS or WSAS, and then create a custom proxy service inside ESB with the wsdl and endpoint of this data service, I can help you with this, you tell me. Jorge.
