I agree that it's probably an allergy of some kind. My Baby Fox was adopted July 09, and she didn't get that itchy scratchy thing going on until around the end of September. It escalated until it finally started going away mid November. She had no further problem until around the same time this year, and she's going nuts with the scratching again. I, too, have been giving her Benadryl intermittently to relief some of it.
